Argument is an award-winning, cross-disciplinary, politically independent student magazine made by students from Oslo.
The magazine is distributed at the university and colleges connected to Studentsamskipnaden i Oslo (SiO) and has a circulation of 4500. Argument wants to broaden the horizon of its readers and give students and aspiring academics a place to develop their writing skills and get their opinions and knowledge out to a bigger audience.
Argument is supported by the Welfare Council of Oslo and Akershus.
The magazine consists of four sections:
Samfunn (covering mainly social sciences and politics)
Kultur (cultural life and humanities)
Naturvitenskap (physical and life sciences)
An issue-specific theme (explored from different perspectives)
We encourage international students to write for us, and articles in English are welcome.
